EMBROIDERY

Inspired by her travels across Africa. She starts by sketching landscapes and patterns she finds in nature, such as tree bark or rock formations. She then distills these natural forms into and translates them into her delicate embroideries. The meditative process of working with thread allows her to create a quiet conversation between nature and form.
