Terracotta collection on show at Everard Read Gallery Cape Town

September 2010 saw an exhibition of Arabella Caccia’s Terracotta collection at Everard Read Gallery in Cape Town.  Inspired by her Sight collection, a collaborative project with photographer Deborah da Silva, the terracotta figures are made up of various mythical female sculptures in poses with fish, birds and other objects.

"Each work is simply a point on a journey – a journey which is an attempt at, a quest in search of truth. A goal which is both mysterious and highly illusive. It is a quest that will preoccupy me for the rest of my life."
